泳いでいるイカをイカ墨とイカ胡粉で、鮮魚になったイカをカラーの油彩で描いた。死後のイカのほうに強い生命力を感じ、生きているイカはどこかテクノロジー的な存在だと思っている。私はイカを食べ、その生命を受け取り、イカに描かされる。
I depict swimming squid with squid ink and cuttlefish shell powder, and paint squid that have become fresh fish in colored oil paint.
I feel a stronger vitality in squid after death, while I think of living squid as somehow technological beings.
I eat the squid, receive its life, and am made to paint by the squid.
